Which is the best still camera ? What we have to look for?

This is a question that has been asked many times before.
It really depends on what you want to use the camera for.

The main points :

*Stick with a good quality manufacturer eg: Canon, Olympus, Samsung or other reputable brands.
*Think about what you want to photograph - If you want to photograph kids playing sports - look for a good optical zoom.
*If you want to take it out to night clubs / parties ect: You want some thing that is small, campact and fits in your hand bag.
*If image quality is the most important this to you, a DSLR is the best option.
*Depends also on the amount of money you want to spend.
* Mega pixel race is dead - as long as you get a 7 or 8 MP camera you will get a nice enlargement to A4 - don't be told you need any more if you don't plan on spending huge amounts of money.
