What would be the best quality camera for photgraphy as a digital camera,under2 200 dollars?

Try Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus, Sony in addition to Canon and Nikon. They're all good brands. You should also think about size, weight and ergonomics.

Great deal on a superb camera

I assume that's $200? Last time I checked Amazon.com, the Canon Powershot A720is was going for $177.60. I have the A710is, and it's fantastic. (I have 2 of those) For $177.60, I highly doubt you will get a better deal with that type of high quality.
