Well, I'm thinking about buying a new digital camera but I want a new one that has the capability of capturing longer videos instead of the recording stopping at three minutes. Are there any good cameras out there for say around 3 hundred or less that have good quality length video recording abilities? Hit me up with comments if you own one or know of any that do! Thanks. Canon digital cameras take some of the best quality video available. Look for a resolution of at least 640x480 at 30fps.
The video length of the newest models is mostly limited to a1GB file size...but if you use a 2GB card then you can record another video straight after.
1GB will allow 8 minutes of high quality video. This is quite small compared to some camera brands, but the video is not as compressed as other cameras, so the quality is higher.
In the price range that you mentioned, I would recommend the Canon A630 (though you will also need to buy a fast SD card, as well as batteries and a charger). It has 8MP, 4x optical zoom and also has full manual controls.
Or...the ultra compact Canon SD600, which comes supplied with a rechargeable lithium battery. It has 6MP and 3x optical zoom. olymus stylus series can take pretty long videos. ithink its 45:00 minutes total for all videos I think the best ones to look at are the Nikion, Kodak, Cannon |
