Help my cousin dropped my digital camera!!? |
It was an accident, and I've dropped it once before too, and nothing happened... but this time the screen turned bright green, and none of the buttons are working, and it wont even turn off! Im really freakin out and Im not sure if I can take it back to the place I bought it to get it fixed.. we have a one year warenty but i think the camera is totally dead and I dont know what Im gonna have to do!! Please help! I think "Gary G" is right. A warranty will not cover damage done by dropping the camera. A technician will probably be able to tell that it was dropped. (as you mentioned, more than once) Try taking the batteries out and then reinserting them. Yes, you can probably take it back to the place where you got it to get it fixed, unless you purchased it at a place like Wal Mart. However, it sounds like the screen has been damaged and it will be checked for impact damage. Which, unfortunately, is not covered under a manufacturers warranty. Good Luck and I hope this helps. if you bought it at Best Buy you can ask them to take a look at it or take it to where ever you bought and see if they can fix it Unless there is an obvious dent, try taking it back. Even though the damage is your fault, take it back and say that the camera stopped working. |
