Is a song DSC-W80/W 7.2 cybershot digital camera good??

i am thinking of buying one.

does anyone know if they are good quality for a camera?
any faults i should be aware of?

I was looking for a camera recently and bought a Samsung and I hated it. It felt cheap, was complicated to use, took horrible pictures, and ate through the 2 AA batteries in about 20 minutes. So I returned it and bought the Sony DSC w80. It did cost more than I wanted to spend but it has been worth it. It is easy to use, takes awesome pictures and the rechargeable battery lasted through 400 7mp pics. It has an auto settings mode which takes great pictures or if you know how to set a camera it has manual modes. The only thing I don't like is it takes sonys Memory Stick memory cards which only fit Sony products, while every other brand uses standard SD cards. I am no camera expert but I can't imagine anyone would be dissapointed with this camera.

it's my fault I broke the first 2, the other 3 is because I have my own, my husband has his own, and there is one that stays in the car...

I can get them at half price here in japan. That's why I bought a 3rd just for the car...

i have a 7.2 cybershot, not the same model as the one u want but it works excellent, they arent that expensive and work great go get it

Sony is the only company that uses Memory Sticks as a memory card.

The most common memory card is the SD. All but three camera companies use SD memory cards.

Look for a camera that is similar to the Sony, but uses SD cards.

It's not the only good digicam out there, but it's certainly one of the better ones if you're looking for a 3x zoom compact.

The only downside to it is that it takes only sony memory sticks.
