Bought my daughter a pink vivitar Vivcam 3105s camera for her birthday today. Read all the instructions, and they are as clear as mud. She started to take pics, and could only take 3, and then the camera said it was full!!!!! Rang the helpline and after 26 minutes of waiting to speak to someone, gave up! She is so upset as it is her last day at school tomorrow and wanted to take pics of her friends. Has anyone any idea if the cam can indeed take only 3 pics...if so..thats useless!!!
thanks 4 rading You need to get a memory card for the camera, as the internal memory is limited to only a couple of pictures.
According to the manual, you can only store about 2 pictures here in the 5mp mode. You can reduce the size of the photos and get more pictures, but to get the most out of the camera, buy an SD memory card. They're available at any drugstore (Walgreens, etc), Target, Walmart, or any place that sells digital cameras. You could also check at Staples, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, or other stores like that.
A 512mb card is cheap and a 1 Gb card isn't much more. The 512mb card will let you take 737 pictures and the 1 Gb card holds 1,475. These cards are plentiful and always on sale.

tell them what kind of camera and they will sell you a card
any brand will do, but try to get a one gb size
they will know what that means Take it back,in the meantime, get a one time use camera (also know as "disposable-cringe), you can always have the images put to a disc if she wants them to email.
You really want to do YOUR "homework" before getting an important "investment" as a digital camera. |
