Would you rather have an ipod or a sweet digital camera?

my dad said he will get me a camera or an ipod. and i don't know what to choose because i love musica and i love taking pic. so if you were in my shoes what will you buy?

Wow, you are lucky! I wish my parents would have bought me either! I had to buy both things myself :-(

I think if I had to choose, I would pick the camera. The camera allows you to record your memories. You have pictures to share with your friends and family. The pictures will always be around (provided you get them printed) and when you get old, you can look back on all the good times and show your kids and grandkids.

An iPod is also good. They let you bring music anywhere without disturbing people. But it isn't exciting. It won't last forever.

I would go for the camera first, and then get the iPod at a later date!

As for a camera, better than 5MP is good. I would recommend getting one with a rechargeable battery rather than one that runs on AAs. If you can, get at least a 1GB memory card for it so you can store a lot of pictures at a time!

I can live with out my music when i am not in the car but i have to have my pics so i can show everyone how good of a time i had without them lol jk i have to deff have my camera though

iPod all the way!! I use it everyday. I too enjoy taking pictures but it can become tedius after a while. Get an iPod, there's new music out all the time so you can change your library whenever it suits you. Then just save up for your camera or wait for a birthday or xmas!

i would probably say a camera.
i have both a ipod and a camera.and i tend to use my camera far more.
i listen to my music on the computer and most of the time if im gone i listen to music in the car.
i take alot of pictures though so in my opinion i think a camera so you can take pictures and save memories.

ipod, shoot for a video one, then you can take pics with any old digital camera and keep them on the ipod.

If I wanted both, and my dad will only buy me one, than I would buy the other with my own money. Usually iPods are cheaper than digital cameras so I would have him buy the more exspensive item and you buy the cheaper item yourself.

well ive got both and i think i use the camera more... the thing is theyre both like really like important i go on trips alot so i neeeed my ipod cuz if not ill be like the whole way there bored butt then i need the camera cuz to take pics and well if u go on trips alot with frendz u can share earphones wid em and u can both listen but u cant really share a cam u no one of them u can live without till the next b-day or christmas soo wichever u think ucan live without for some time

I like both, but for me i cant live without music so i would get an ipod, but i love pictures too, so its kinda maybe this maybe that. Well i guess i would pick an ipod, because i travel alot on planes and long car rides and so i cant live without my music, and i no thier is just a cd player, but then you have to get all the cds. I would like a camera too but i would just ask for that for maybe christmas, or somthing, but its all up to you, so good luck.

I would choose the camera because you could always listen to the radio for music. I love taking pictures too.

i had your problem at 1 point because i love music and taking pics...i think i made the wrong decision in getting the camera because you get bored after a while and music never gets boring plus you can play games and stuff like that.

Get an iPod, but make sure it's a video.

a digital camera becuz i already have a really nice mp3 player that is just as good as an ipod and only cost $50...
get a digital camera cuz they cost more and are harder to get with your own money unless you have a job
