My Fujifilm digital camera's CCD malfunctioned. Is there a hidden warranty? It was bought about 2003-4.?

Sorry man, your out of luck. The camera is 3-4 years old. It would be outside the warranty. If it makes you feel better, you can probably get a better camera for a fraction of what that one cost you...

You might take a look around for a local place that does in-house electronics repairs. That would be your best chance.

I had a 4 year old Sony come through the other day and directed the owner to a place that fixed it for around $70.
A lot better then the quotes around $300 that she was getting.

No offense, but how do you know it was the CCD? I agree with the first poster. You should just get a new camera.
