I have an HP Photosmart digital camera. I got it only a few months ago, and it hasn't been dropped.
The display screen isn't functioning at all. When I hold it up to the window or some other light source I can make out what is on the screen. However, it is nearly impossible to see what I'm taking a picture of. I've sort of been using the point and shoot approach, but it's getting a little on the ridiculous side.
I'm unsure of the stipulations regarding the warrantee. I didn't buy any sort of extra coverage, which is stupid of me considering my track record with digitals. Any idea of what the problem might be and how I might go about getting it fixed? ps. I bought it at Target Ok, check if the lens are dirty.
Check on the brightness and darkness settings
Check on what kind of format your taking pictures on.
