How do you hear the sound of a recorded video on a digital camera?

I bought this new camera, a sony cybershot. I then wanted to check it out and recorded a short video of my sister singing. However, when I played it back on the camera, I saw the movements but the sound didn't come.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

go into menu and increase the volume
