Is 22mb a good internal memory for a digital camera? |
buying new digi camera. Internal memory is useless...so, don't worry about it. My first reaction is no, but I guess it also depends on the megapixels for the camera. If the camera has an expansion slot for an additional memory card and you don't mind buying one then you should have no problems. What is the camera make and model? 22 megabytes is just the way for the companies to say, it includes memory. Depending on the file size, you're camera could hold anywhere from 50 to 5 images. Think about getting an extra card, maybe 128, or 512. If you take a lot of pictures, get a 1GB. well you have to consider the size of the sensor. in a 6Mp, you'll only be able to store approx.6 to 7 picture in fine and largest settings. And it is not enough at all, the only purpose of internal memory is only as a back up, in case if you 're out of card memory. So you must buy a memory card, let's say 512 Mb for starts, because you don't want to put all the eggs in one basket right? As everyone says, you should pretty much ignore the internal memory and buy a 512 KB - 1 GB card. I don't know which camera you own, but even if you shoot in the worst resolution, smallest image with any camera, you won't be able to put more than 20 pics in the internal memory. not really, unless you are not going to get a card it doesnt really matter, get a card with a high capacity like 512MB or 1gig WELL IT DEPENDS ON THE MP OF UR CAM BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH 4 DIGICAM you need a memory card |
