Im Buying a New Memory Card for my Digital Camera?

How much Memory Should I get?Its For A VuPoint Solutions Camera.http://www.vupointsolutions.com/c517.asp... what my camera looks like.

In choosing memory cards, I suggest that you ask these questions:

1. How often will I take pictures?
2. How many do I intend to take each time I take pictures?
3. How long do I need to store them before I transfer them to the computer or have the pictures printed?
4. How much money am I willing to spend?

1 GB cards provides you the flexibility of taking more pictures (even if you take pictures frequently) and will allow you to decide which is the best. In addition, you can store old pictures without necessarily transferring them to the PC or having them printed unless you need it. The catch is you have to spend a little more than what you might intend to spend your money on.

A 64 MB card on the other hand will allow you to save few pictures (at 5 MP) but if you transfer to the computer after every event or print the best immediately after an event, you can easily free the card and go to your next event. It is cheaper but you cannot spend much time deciding which is the best because of space constraint. You can delete pictures but it lessens battery life.

My own preference would be 256 or 512 MB. The size is enough for flexibility in terms of number of pictures and friendly to the budget.

To help you further, you might want to check out some articles about choosing the right memory card for you. Take note that you need Secure Digital (SD) Cards (according to the web site for your camera).

I use a 1 GIG chip. Takes 500 pictures or 30 minutes of video.

It says it supports up to 1 GB so I'd get a 1 GB card. That'll hold plenty of pics.

Well you will most likely do well with a 1gb so that you can store a good amount of high quality pictures (make sure that you format whatever disk it is you get first). I am not sure what kind of card your digital camera takes, however if you go to overstock.com you can get sd cards really cheap, they ship fast too and Im sure that they will have a card for your camera but I dont know how the prices will compare with other stores... so far they are the best priced I have found. Good luck.

If u have enough money then u can go for a 1GB card.
Or else U can go for a 512MB card which is a little costly.

I say go for the 1gig card. Check out sites like tigerdirect.com and ebay for the best prices.
