I plan to buy a digital camere but don't know what kind i should buy?

i do wrestling and track in school, and i want to buy a camera that best for wrestling, (indoor and usually not enough light) and for running, i always take bad pictures of the runner 'cause they run so fast. what brand should i buy, oh one more i want to buy a camera that's not too expensive

I was looking for something similar for rock concerts in low light conditions. Every website I looked recommended the Fuji F20. I ended up buying the newer model Fuji F40FD for about $260. I love it... it works great. The concert pix I have has blown my old Nikon and Panasonic cameras. Also used them with great results for my son's Karate tests (Indoor Gym).

i say buy one u know is good even if it expensive becouse now days u buy somethin cheap but it doesnt work .

Get a nikon. Relativley in-expensive, and very fast shutter speed, so youll never have blur. =]

for lowlight no flash any of the fuji f-series cameras do best

if you use flash try to get a cheaper image stabilizing camera

also when buying consider how big it is and weight since you will be on the go or running alot, slim will be very handy

Even though I personally own this camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:

1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]
