My husband and I received this digital camera as a christmas gift. I bought a memory card and it wont accept it. The memory card is good because I inserted it into another digital camera. The book that came with the camera says to insert SD Card before turning on the camera and turn the camera off before removing it. If you insert the card before turning it on, it won't turn on. Please help. Are you sure you've bought the correct type of SD memory card? Sounds like you've bought the wrong one. Does the camera work with it's original card? If "yes" then it has to be the memory card that's at fault.
