I'm thinking of buying a Hewlett Packard E327 digital camera. Anyone have one?? What do you think??No, but I have the HP M417 and I find it to have a lot of potential. Once I get more familiar with it, I'm sure my photos will be more consistantly excellent. Great color. I'm sure the quality and features run in the family. :-) I wouldn't recommend it. The optics on that camera are terrible. Sure, it's cheap but the quality is really, really low. For just a little more money, you could have a Canon Powershot A430 and be much happier with your camera. As Panacea said, I would not really recommend it either. HP are not known for their cameras.
Probably the worst thing about it...is that it does not have any optical zoom whatsoever. It only has a lousy digital zoom.
That is a big no no.
Look for a camera that has an optical zoom of 3X, 4X or more.
Canon is a great brand...the A540, A610 or the better A620 are good models.
I would not choose a lower model number...mainly because they don't have enough megapixels...or have a very poor resolution LCD screen...and shoot 'video' at either a low resolution and/or without audio. For better video...you need the camera to have audio and shoot at 640X480 @ 30fps. |
