Digital Camera opinons?

im am wanting to buy this new camera but i dont know if it is a great camera heres the link tell me what u think of it

This is an awesome camera to have . . .

A really great choice, nice and thin, lightweight, shoots photos and video with sound. Easy to use controls and a 2.5" screen to view.

I don't own the camera. It's pretty new, so there is not a lot out there about it yet. You can go here and see what at least 2 users think. It seems like it has a rating of "adequate for the job of taking snapshots."

If you are as underwhelmed as I was, consider the Canon SD1000 for about the same money. It doesn't come in pink, though...

It DOES have an optical viewfinder, which can be a lifesaver sometimes and a battery saver all the time.

to me it seems like a good camera

check out the canon sd1000, and then buy it online for like $225. i think its lame too that ud buy a camera just cuz its pink. but hey thats marketing

Looks pretty slick. Anyways, what i usually do is do a little research on it to see what other people think. I usually go to epinions.com or cnet.com. Sometimes you may not have any reviews due to the item being new. The megapixels is good. If those sites don't have any reviews then maybe you can try google.com. Good luck.

This is an OK camera but for the money it is not the best. If you still want a pink camera in the same price range and want it to be good then go with the Sony W55 in pink of corse. It is a superior camera and costs the same from http://bestbuy.com although currently it is out stock. so I am sure you can find it some where else for around the same price. It has the same megapixels and honestly you do not want more megapixels in a small compact camera. Any more then 8 is over kill and you should look at a DSLR. The sensor in the camera is too small for more and if they put more megapixels then you will get the same problem as the casio BAD COLOR in your photos. They will not be true colors they will be off and you will see the difference.

Even though I personally own this camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:

1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. Has tripod mount on bottom of camera;
9. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]
