I bought this camera like a month ago and the only thing i dislike about it is that the batterys will go dead after like 50 pics! Don't have one, but i think I know how to solve your battery problem......... according to an online store with the camera's specs, it uses 2x AA batteries, and my guess would be you're still using bog standard disposable Duracell / Energizer batteries.
When I first got my digital camera (Fuji Finepix A345), I had trouble with battery life too.......... until I discovered the miracle of High Capacity Rechargable batteries. alot of other people go down this route too - where once the damn thing would go dead after filling the standard 16MB xD memory card 1 - 1.5times, upgrading to 2100mAh rechargables I was able to take enough pictures to fill both the 16MB card + a 128MB memory card, and still there'd be enough power left in the batteries to go again after I'd downloaded the pictures.
