My girlfriend's birthday is coming up, should I get her a digital camera or jewelry?

She's always saying how she wants a digital camera and she's gonna buy one, but of course the obvious gift would be jewelry.

Didn't you read the article on the yahoo homepage? 4 out of 5 women perferred a high-tech gadget than a diamond ring. I think you should give her a really cool digital camera. My mom always wanted diamonds but my dad got her this super cool phone and i gave her the diamonds. She has only worn the diamond ring once and uses that phone 24/7! It depends what your girl friend wants. No, its her birthday so its not what she needs, its what she wants!

If you have the money though, it would be a great present to "split" it ... get her a less expensive camera that's still high quality and get her some jewlery too!

i would say a camera. then before you give it to her take some cute and/or sexy pic of yourself . so when she opens it and tries it out shell already have you there and give a lot of flowers and a meaningful card. take her out to eat or make dinner at home. just do the whole nine yards but yeah i think the camera will be best. jewelry isnt always what respectable,thoughtful, understanding wives or girlfriends want. just the thought and the sense that their men are listening to them and knows their needs and how to please them.

Jewelry would always be nice, especially when its loaded with diamonds and these are always classic, sentimental gifts. It shows how she is worth to you (priceless).

Giving her a camera would give a thrill too, since she yearns to have one. If you decide to give her the cam, buy her the model that she would least expect, the best one that your budget can afford. Then load it with flowers too. Put the camera box (with the cam inside of course) inside a different box (ex. a stuff toy box) so she'll think you've given her a different gift.
