I have a 5 mega pixel digital camera, i bought a 526 mega bite chip. How many pictures can i take with it??

Hi - It depends entirely on the resoluton you choose to use - higher resolution, less pictures. However, even a the best setting, you should get lots - the following is for 64Mb, so you can do the maths based on this:

2304 x 1728:No. of pictures : 122,
2048 x 1536: No.of pictures : 145,
1600 x 1200: No. of pictures : 190 ,
800 x 600: No.of pictures : 581

Depends entirely on the resolution you go with. The higher the resolution the less pictures. Anywhere from 25 to 999.

Depends on the quality you save your images.
Always set your camera to take the best quality. memory cards are cheap and if a photo is worth taking then it's worth taking at the best quality.
On average a 512 Mb card will hold more than 200 images if saved as a jpeg at highest quality,
If you have the option to save as a RAW file then this will be reduced to about 40.
But RAW files will need special software or Adobe Photoshop CS to open.
Allthetreesare answer is incorrect there is no way you will get 122 images @ just under 4 mpixels on a 64 mb card.
