I just bought this Akai digital camera, and i connected it to the USB port the way the instructions said.
I have an Everex computer with windows xp.
When i go to my computer and i try to open the removable disc, this other thing pops up that sais autoplay and then the my computer stops responding and i start all over.
But sometimes it sais: Please insert disc in drive D
Do i need to install the sophware that came with the camera first? This could be a bad disk issue, or a bad CD drive. Try to find a "driver" from the Internet. Type in your camera's exact type in a search engine. Find out if there's an on line driver, and try this one. In fact, try the manufacturer's website Of Course you need to install the sophware that came with the camera first.
Otherwise u can try inserting the camera memory card on a cheaply available card reader and download your pics from your camera card to your computer.
In any case installing the camera software should solve the problem. i need more info. |
