Vivitar Mini Digital Camera?

I just bought my vivitar digital camera I've followed the instructions and when i go to My CAMERA where you are supposed to download them to your pc or mac and it says "cannot connect to camera" It's plugged in at both ends, what's wrong?!

did you install the camera driver ??

I also bought one and it will not share ware to my files or when using it in PC mode it will not shareto my Yahoo IM so what's the problem. I have down loaded from my disk and added all programs but it still will not work. comments/help

I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS!! I'm really good with computers too!!

Took the 1st one back to the store, and had the same problem with the replacement!!

This is what you do. Plug in the camera a thing should pop up saying "found new hardware. Then windows hardware installer should pop up. Insert your CD and complete windows hardware installer this should take 5 minutes. When its done your camera will be connected to the computer. Report It
