Bought the polaroid a300 digital camera with 3.2mp and the screen is black cant see the picture im taking?

bought the polaroid a300 digital camera with 3.2mp and the screen is black cant see the picture im taking...it takes the picture and i can see what i take after it is taken but not before. can some one please help me

I am having the same problem and hope someone can help! I might just contact Polaroid.
