one no frills ,what do i look for ,for e'g what make.etc. Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time - 300 shots per set of rechargeables;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. Has tripod mount on bottom of camera;
9. And the price is a mere $119 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com; $99 at amazon.com]

Good luck! nikon coolpix is good digi cams if you can afford check fuji out, damn good cam's at reasonable prices ish?? mega pix anywhere from 4 up hill ? i have a 3.2 and it takes marvellous pic's (fuji)
theres loads of choice and you will be spoilt for it!! argos has a special on a camera. 拢70 for a 7 mega pixel which is very good for that price I would buy it if I lived on mainland Uk because those idiots dont ship to channel islands. try this site http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/pa... I will give you same info i heard other day and i agree with it
start at 4mp as for what makes buy what digital camera will
have reviews in it ads and a checklist
i'd say Sony, Samsung and Fuji oh the more digital zoom you have like some the more it will cost, oh amazon.co.uk have reviews on there, and dooyoo.com will too and i think reviewcentre.co.uk but you need to know what you are looking for, some will only have capacity for 1GB where some will have 2GB , seen some offers where the chip was free [ don't ask] maybe try jessops.co.uk or go to your local shop but if a 4mp has been reduced and its too much then pull away get a price in your head and stick to it. I have just bought an Olympus. Very easy Camera to use. A 7 mega pixel. Has all the softwear and instructing for online use. Go for that one. Currys.
Easy peasy to use.. just what you wanted.
All the best It's a bit easier to choose if one knew how much you,re spending. Between $15 to $200 look at Fuji's, Sony's and Canons. For point and shoot purposes (nothing fancy), I prefer a cannon or sony. My slr is an olympus (I love it) but for point and shoot purposes I was a little bit dissapointed in their line of those type of cameras but my sony (and friend's sony) never let us down and they're really easy to use. I have used 6 or 7 digital cameras in a few years. Some were very good (very old Sony) some were mediocre. They all had the same problem: not shock resisant. After a small drop or similar accident I had to repair them. Of course, usual story: repair cost more than a new one. The last one was a Canon Ixus 40. It fell from a small table (about 15 cm) and was gone.
Now I have a Canon Ixus 60. I dropped it already several times. It fell from my pocket while I was driving very slowly on my motorbike. It looks like it has been in WW1 but is still works.
It is a very simple camera with lots of features. You can use it in automatic mode and it will do everything for you (except cook breakfast). The only thing it misses: I can not force the flash when it decides not to use it. I also have a Canon Powershoot A530, but I hardly use it, it is too big.
The Canon Ixus 60 is proof that it s possible to make a sturdy camera. It has a metal body. I wonder why other models are so flimsy. If you are a bit clumsy like I am, but still want to have your camera loose in your pocket take a look at this one.
Have a nice day. |
