I don't know what kind do you have or what brand but they all pretty much works the same way. Have you read the manual yet? Maybe these sites can help you get started. They can be overwhelming but could be worth the information.

Read the users manual that came with it. That or call the company customer service ... they will help you.

You can call the digital camera maker and ask them how to work it.

Hopefully it came with a users manual. You can't just pick up and use EVERYTHING without instructions all the time.

there are point and shoot if you cant figure it out have your children show you how it works

All digital cameras work basically the same way. Do this: Put batteries in your camera (you'll have to find the battery opening). Put some type of "media card" in the camera (there are different sizes, shapes, find yours and put it in). Turn on the camera and start taking pictures, that it!!! NOW for the fun stuff: When you take a digital picture it creates a file. On a small media card (say 16mb) it may hold approx. 50 pictures. You could purchase a 128mb media card that may hold approx. 200 pictures. You could even splurge and buy a 256 media card that can hold up to say 600 pics (just guessing here). Once you fill up the media card that you have (when trying to take another picture it will say THE CARD IS FULL) you will have to transfer all the pictures off of the card and onto your computer which has alot of storage space. That is it for the basics. So - Batteries - Media Card - Shoot Away!!!

??? did u put in batteries to make a pic ????

Manual, online tutorial, your kids, niece, nephews, etc.

You can also go to the major Elec. stores and pretend :) that you're a newbie and let them give you the quick HOWTO and features of your camera.

read the user manually or get back to the shop u bought it

Hello fellow Nurse!
You need the Sd card ( I use sandisk) (there is a slot to put it in). That is where your pics are stored.
There should be arrows that allow you skim through the pics you have taken and either keep them or delete them. The little window will show a thmbnail view of the pics.

A USB cable is needed to transfer to your computer. The camera should have come with a cd to download the software to your PC however if you are using XP I believe it will work without it.

You click and shoot as with any standard camera to take the pictures.

Most models have "How tos" at there web sites as well. Without knowing the model you have it is hard to give further advice on its features.
The more expensive--the more features and the better the images (pixels).
