Hey! I was just wondering how you send your pictures over to a modeling agency. I've never sent pics over the internet before and I need some help. I just bought a digital camera & a memory stick and I think you just have to take the pics, save them onto your computer and download them onto your memory stick. I'm not sure "HOW" to do this though. Can u help? I'd say the first thing you need to figure out is whether the modeling agency accepts pictures over the internet.
If you do, you can get them there in a couple of ways.
One is to e-mail them. All you need is the e-mail address of the person at the agency. Then transfer them your computer, attach them to an e-mail, and send them off.
Another way is to post them to a picture sharing site, such as Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/ ) and provide them a link.
Another way is to post them to your own site. Again profide them a link.
You may even be able to post them directly to the Agency's site.
If you are posting, you need to download the pictures from your camera to your computer, then upload them to the site in question. Most websites have fairly easy file transfer instructions. You are so far behind the power curve here.
Before you can even attempt to photograph professional quality glamour shots, you will need to take at least a few classes in photography at your community college.
When you say you have a Memory Stick, that means you are using a Sony digital camera. To successfully meet the requirements of a college level photo class you will need to buy or borrow a 35mm camera with lens so you can learn how to compose, expose, develop and print your images.
