I'm planning on buying a digital camera for my parents for Christmas. I would like a good one, because my Dad is picky with electronics, but I don't want to go over $200. Really I wanted to spend about $150, but I could go over a little. Any suggestions? YEP.....CAMERA PHONE anything over 5 mp is excellent
3 mp is average
i have a kodak 5 mp 10x zoom and its a good one This really depends on what they are looking for. If they are interested in something small, the Casio and Canon SD cameras are very good. Most of the other manufacturers make larger cameras - Kodak and HPs are very easy to use. Nikon has a wide range of cameras in that range as does Sony and Fuji. If they want something with say a 10X zoom, seek out maybe the Canon S2.
One thing to check is the type of memory it uses. SD is generally cheaper than XD or Sony's memory stick.
