Generic cards should work, provided they're the right type.

There are many different types of memory cards, E.g. SD, XD, Flash etc. U hav to check which yours is. For SD it doesnt matter wat company makes them, any will do.

However for XD cards there are 2 types (i think type H and M), so u hav to buy the specific one, especially with olympus/ fuji cameras.

You can buy any brand you want, so long as it is the same basic type (like SD, or whatever).

Keep in mind, however, that memory cards now come with speed differences. If you find that it takes too long between pictures on your digital camera, you can sometimes improve performance with a faster memory card. Faster cards tend to be somewhat more expensive, and they will be marked with speeds like "50 X" or "64 X" or whatever. The sometimes also carry marketing names like Ultra or Super. Don't rely on those names for actual speeds, but they should give you an idea of how they compare with other memory cards from the same company.

No. as long as it is the same type eg SD (Secure Digital) any make will fit. Take the card out of your camera and check the type and size then you will know what to buy, a 512mb card will store circa 300 pictures depending on the image settings.
