I just bought a digital camera but when I turn off the camera it delects the pictures.
And it also turns off by itself if not used within 10 seconds.
Is there a way so the pictures won't be delected?
Or make it so it won't turn off within seconds of not use?
Or should I just return it?
The brand is: Digital concepts 2.1 Megapixal 81480 I never heard of Digital Concepts, but check to see if there is a power-off delay option. It may be set to 10 seconds to save the battery. With most cameras (that I have ever heard of before), you can change this to 20 or 30 seconds or more or defeat it totally. I have no clue about deleting pictures.
I just found one on eBay and I see that this camera can accept an SD memory card. If you do not have a memory card in your camera, try one. This will save the pictures when you shut off the camera. Do you mean it deletes them when you shut it off? You said "delects", so I'm wonder if you meant select or delete. You must have meant delete, because de-selecting isn't a big deal.
I do not have any experience with this model but I know some cameras have a setting that asks you to confirm that you want to save it - you should look for this setting.
I know its a drag, but you really should skim through the manual. I know, I know, nobody wants to read the directions, but its not that painful, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
I'm sure the power thing is a setting too, either that or your batteries are low. Return it and get a real digital camera. You want to look at a more well known brand that has been in the camera business for years. Like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm...etc.
Anyways, it sounded like the battery is not working correctly or the camera just bad. |
