if you buy another digital camera do you still have to put the s/ware c.d. on, before you can d/ load the pictures It will depend on your camera. My camera has the option to be 'seen' by the computer as either a digital camera or a memory device. If it's on as a memory device then it will show up in My Computer as an extra drive. From there you can do whatever you want with the pics.
The software you already have may be compatible, but from what I've seen most companies like you to use bundled software. no not really..da software is just there to ease the transition and make it easier for u...if u have a sony or a canon or any other good brand camera u can put da memory card in directly and just drag and copy the files u need...or else just hook it up to ur pc and it will appear as a removable disk drive in My Computer...so u can copy all ur pics that way...(btw u still mite need to install da hardware driver for da camera...dis doznt have to be necessarily done using da cd...u can get dem from da net if need be) check the camera menu there should be a delete option and use that to delete it. |
