Can I easily buy a digital camera at Taipei airport or nearby? I am on crutches....I want a SONY DSC-H9 - can you get them there and how much??!! I got my camera in August 2 summers ago at a technology expo at Taipei's City Hall. I don't know if that's an annual or one-time thing. The main Taiwanese airport (Chiang Kai-Shek airport, closest to Taipei) doesn't have many shops... I think there is a little store that sells cameras but the selection is limited so your chances of finding that exact camera are slim.
If you fly to Taiwan from the States, try to book a flight that has a layover at Narita (in Japan) (United usually stops there). It has an intense Sony store. Duty Free that means it was Free of Charge. |
