i just bought a digital camera and it came with a secure digital card reader/writer. i tryed installing it with the cd but it says it will only work with a windows 98 and but i have a windows xp. is there anyway to make it so i can use the reader? i bought the camera on ebay so i dont know what to do.

You can do 1 of 2 things, Go to a professional or Go through your start programs and then through your accessories and then you will find a program compatibility wizard the icon of the program will contain a blue question mark you can run software through that compatibility wizard. I've had good luck going to manufacturers websites and looking for drivers. Before doing that, however, see if XP can find the right software. Many cameras have very similar formats, etc. |
