My digital camera was dropped on the floor, face down. It's a Panosonic Lumix, I believe. Anyway when the camera is on the "zoom thing" sticks out sort of far, and now it just stays open, it won't close. Would anyone know what's wrong with it? Would it cost a lot to fix? Should I just buy a new one? I need my Digi-Cam for the Holidays, I didn't have it for Thanksgiving! Please Help! I would just buy a new one. I had a great digital camera that the same thing happened to while I was on vacation and I went to a repair shop and it was going to cost almost as much as the camera to fix so I just bought a new one.
It would never hurt to take it to a repair shop especially if it is a really expensive camera. But if it is $300 or less I would just buy a new one. unless this is a professional camra its not worth it. it will be cheaper to fix more than likely but not much. your better off just going new. depending on how old it is you may be able to get twice the camra for the same price. if it is newer and still under warrenty try that first just leave out the dropping part of the story |
