I second that, best buy is the best place.

All Powershots are really good. The newer versions are nice because they have really big LCD screens for better viewing. Just go to Target, WalMart, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot...anywhere like that and you can buy one in 10 minutes.

best buys, sears, target, wall mart or any place like that sells them, ask the sales person, i like cannon but my parent's one broke after a year so i am not sure if they are good anymore

well it all depends on where you live, i have a store by me called best buy, we recently bought our digital camera there, and the sales help was very helpful as to choose the right camera to suite my needs, he explained how the camera works very thoughly, and they also offfer there a insurance, like extended warranty if you would like to purchase it, another store that is similar is circut city, or even try sams club or walmart, i prefer a electrnoic store that knows the ins and outs and can explain things to you, and help make a wise choice , best of luck photots capture lifes best moments! so enjoy
