Should I get my digital camera repaired or buy a new one?

the screen on it is broken. like cracked. is it repairable? is it worth getting repaired? or just buy a new one?

my sony DSC P72 is showing me "no memory stick", despite the fact that there is one....

Sony has flat rate repair $120. New DSC S650 is $120-145.

I would pay $60-70 to fix the old one....north of that, I would buy a new one.

you could probably get it repaired, but... not likely the repair place will have the part (ordering part,waiting for it)you may could have it back in3-4 weeks. if it's older comparisonshop around before you make a decision

it depends how nice your camera was... but most of the time you are better off buying a new one

If it is a $500 camera, it is probably worth getting it repaired. If it is a $100 camera, it will cost you more to repair it than to buy a new camera.
