My Sony died. It was 5.1 megapixels, had in camera editing, and could take movies with sound for as long as I had memory.
I'd like another with similar features. I don't really want to spend more than $400.
What should I buy? Since you already have a Sony, why throw away that Memory Stick when you could put it to good use in another one...
For $300, I would consider the Cybershot DSC-T70. 8 megapixels, which is good enough to cover you up to probably 12 x 18" prints and beyond so you can use it for years on enlargements. It's an ultracompact, so it will fit in your pocket easily.
This one also features in-camera retouching and red-eye reduction, and also shoots movies (even high-quality, high resolution ones given the proper Memory Stick type) with sound as long as you have memory.
The camera also has another cool feature in that it has a 3" touchscreen LCD, which isn't present on very many digital cameras today. HD output is also an included feature so your photos can really shine if you're showing them on a high definition TV. Check out more in Link 1, click on the Features tab.
If you don't like the idea of a touchscreen, then check out the DSC-T20. Basically the same features as the T70, but with a 2.5" non-touchscreen LCD, for $40 less ($260). Check out more in Link 2, click on the Features tab. |
