Dear friends,I want to buy a digital camera for $300-$400.could you please tell me what brand and which model?

Cannon Powershot SD600. Great optics, good low light photos. Great manual and auto settings for beginner and advance photographers. Also has very large, clear and bright LCD.

I saw a news segments that try different digital cameras and they said Canon is the good one. I purchased power shot S400 year ago and it works great! Now they have SD600 might work better for you!

Buy the most expensive Nikon or Canon you can afford.

you need to check out some points:
* should it be small, such that it fits into a shirt pocket, or purse
* should it be a 'good' size so that you dont press the wrong button, as the user has largish hands/fingers
