Photo Blocking License Plate Covers? |
I recently saw a website advertising license plate covers and sprays that are supposed to be able to block the camera's that my are (jefferson and orleans parish, Louisiana) has set up to monitor intersections for speeding, running red lights and other traffic violations. I was considering buying one of the license plate covers but wanted to find out about the legality of it first. So my question is are these legal or not, hopefully a LEO can clarify this issue. correction: my area* As pointed out, they don't work. However, they are also illegal, as an attempt to circumvent the law. So, they're a doubly effective way to totally waste your money.
