Downloading rings tones!?

I got a cellular one cell phone, can't buy or download ring tones on it. I have a digital camera, with a cord to transfer pics. to computer, this cord actually fits my phone too. Is there any way to download the ring tone and transfer it to the phone through the cord? If so, how and where can I do this, not good with comp. so need step by step instructions, thanks in advance.

well, first of all,
make the ringtone from mp3 files.
A great and free ringtone site is

go their, sign up, dont worry, ive never been spammed or anything in 1 year with them.
Then, after you make the ringtone, download it to your computer
and use the cable to put it on.

I dont know the details of your phone,
but im sure you need to install drivers on your computer, youl have to download those somewhere, not sure where,
usually when you buy cable, it comes with it.

If you cant find drivers, buy a memory card, and your pc will recognize it.

Last option, if you phone has bluetooth, buy a bluetooth dongle for your pc
