Blackberry Pearl vs Env 2?

I'm looking to buy a new phone, and am debating between the Pearl and the new EnV. I'm mostly looking for a solid messaging phone, but would also like a few other features.

I don't like the keyboard on the Pearl, but i didnt get much time to play with it. its so different from a qwerty keyboard or a standard cell phone keyboard.
Love the env2s keyboard with all my heart.

LOVE the pearls camera
HATE the envs camera

Env has the standard verizon messaging system, $5 a month for email, video, picture etc. it would work.
Blackberry is supposed to have amazing messaging features.

HATTEEEEEE the envs speakers. my current free phone had speakers 10 times better than the envs.
Pearls speakers are whatever to me.

Love both of the designs.

Love both the screens.

Env has better call quality in my opinion.

Web browser on the pearl is better than the envs.

3.5mm jack on pearl is GREAT!!!


What shall I get [based on my thoughts or on your own opinion]

the pearl is the best i know because i have one! i love it! the env2 may have a full keyboard but the blackberry keyboard is easy and you will get used to it. The env2 front screen is so small that if you try to take a picture with the front screen it will be hard. Just get the blackberry pearl! it is the best!

i personally dont like the pearl because its kinda big and i dont like how you text on it. I have the original env and its nicee. the only thing i dont like about it is the screen on the front is really small.But that doesnt matter because you dont normally use it anyway. Also if your a big texter its kind of annoying to have to clear out the inbox after every 50 texts.

i personally would get the env2 tho cause i tried out the keyboard and its amazing, the only thing that sucks about the env2 is how small the external display is

yea go for the blackberry.
one of my friend has an env 2 and the screen is soooooo small on the front and you cant even view your sent messages from the front.
and the camera sucks on it
and the battery falls out constatly
