Does the Tracfone Duble munites for life work or just a trick???please help

hi i am about to buy that 50 dollars camera phone that comes with double minutes for life but my mom does't trust the company and she sais that the companies trick you with a bunch of stuf and i just want to be sure that is works. does it realy duble your minutes??? and will it last forever??? please dont say it works or it does't if you havent tried it yet. thx

The Double Minutes For Life on the TracFone Motorola W376g is not a trick. Any paid minutes that you add to the phone get automatically doubled for free. If you get free minutes from a promo code, they are not doubled. The DMFL feature is good for the life of the phone only, and cannot be transferred to another phone. Yes, I have tried it and the minutes do get doubled.
