Do people who have never watched tv dream? |
whenever i dream i always see myself as a 3rd person, as if im seeing myself through a camera lens so to speak, never through my own vision. is it just me or does everyone see themselves as a 3rd person? I know exactly what you are taking about...That happens to me always and everyone I tell think I am funny cause they see themselves through their eyes.....In my dreams sometimes the othe person's face might be blurred out too...weird, but at least I am not alone with the third person thing.... No, I'm usually "living" the dream as I would in real life. yes, doing REM sleep to me when i dream i see my self from all angles espesially when some thing want to kill you you look like your running really slow i hate night mare tv has notthing to do with dreaming ...sometimes i dream in the 3rd person sometimes i don't but tv don't make me do it What has TV got to do with dreaming? Dreams have been around longer then TV. No I don't. I am usually myself, in my own body. Sometimes I see myself as a '3rd person', but usually not. why do people who never dream watch tv? Dreaming is a part of your imagination and sub-conscious, tv has nothing to do with it. Tv hasn't been around forever, people have always had dreams, examples: any book written before 1950's. I think how you view yourself in a dream reflects how you feel about yourself. this means you dream like most others. i dream as a 3rd person but i some times participate, especially in erotic dreams More interesting of a question than it first seems. I've often wondered if some of our dreaming, especially lucid dreaming in which you have a bit of conscious control, isn't an evolved form of theater. And, if there is a limited array of fundamental story plots, as there seems to be in theater and literature, do the stories of our dreams match up, fall short or exceed those known limitations? Dreaming is part of being human. People have dreamed dreams forever. Freud talked about dreams. The Bible talks about dreams. I never dream in 3rd person. Why wouldn't they? Haven't you ever dreamt about a journey you have made to a holiday destination? |
