I think i look awesome infront of mirror, but crap in photograph WHY? |
why is it so ? i think i look rather awesome when i look into the mirror, but when i took pictures, it always turn out to be yurky. since mirror actually is left = right, so i think i Just not photogenic. But if you want to be photogenic, take your camera and just have a photo shoot of all you with it. I used to be hiding from the camera always, but now that I've taken time to take ALOT of pics of myself, I know what side looks better, or what pose makes me not look like an idiot. because the lighting in front of your mirror is probably dimmer, or just..better, and your seeing your self differently then how people look at you. like your right in the mirror is actually your left. get it? and youre probably just really ugly You are viewing yourself from human eye, with human perspective of yourself. Photos are without human aspect for one, and taken from different lens than the human eye, just as television cameras make a person look larger depending on the angle. You may photograph just the same as other's see you but your view is more critical I also have the problem. I believe it's because a photo is a 2-D and the mirror is a 2-D that somehow looks like a 3-D(in-depth background). Another possible cause maybe is that MOST people don't look good in photos. hahaha mirror always show opposite of wat u r u look awesome indeed if u r of good nature I reckon (and i'm not trying to pay you out, i know this from personal experience) that you've got a good looking body but an ugly face. when you look in the mirror you don't tend to look directly at your face, whereas in a photo you would. could be you aren't photogenic but most causes is the shading in the camera lens is different. i have the same problem. i see myself in the mirror and think i look good then get a picture and i have really dark circles under my eyes that i don't see in the mirror. was told it is the shading in the picture. join the club! i have the same problem. i think it's a matter of being photogenic or not. i'm trying to take photoes for myself using my cell phone..it's getting better but not much.. anyway, it also depends alot on the hand of the photographer, an expert will really know to get the best angle and get the best of you :) but i'm sure u r awesome! same as me! ;) o gosh i have the same problem!!!! i would say number 2 a lot of it has to do with being photogenic.....some people are graced with it and then some of us aren't.... also the way we see ourselves if different from how others do.... we are so much more critical of ourselves.... i think a lot of it also stems from photos taken naturally or spontaneously and those 'posed' for any prolonged period of time.... the best advice i can give is just be yourself when having your photo taken... we all take dumpy pics at some point or another....(for me almost all the time).... just keep the pics in your mind vivid so you can at least tell the story!! |
