My camera can be turned on, but it cannot zoom. The lens seems to be stuck. I have not dropped it or anything, so I do not know what's going on. I can take pictures but they are really blurry and when I turn on the camera, there is a flicking sound due to the lens. When I turn it off, the lens go in but it comes out a little bit then totally turns off. When I try to zoom in it also clicks and when I zoom back out, it gives me an error, telling me to turn my camera on and off again. I do that and everything's the same. I cannot reset my camera because I do not know how or where the secret button is. Please help. We had this exact same issue happen with our Cybershot dsc-60.
We had to send it in for repairs. It was warranty work for us and we had it back in less than 2 weeks. Works perfectly now. You could check the manual of Sony's website for support. Most cams have a rest button but they are difficult to find. From the symptons though I think your issue won't be fixed by a reset--sounds like something mechanixal in the lens...and that means a trip to the repair shop. I had a cam that did this and I had to return to Nikon for service. |
