Fuji FinePix S6500 lens help?

to foucs the Fuji FinePix S6500 do you have to twist the lens like you would on a SLR camera

If using it in the Manual Focus Mode, yes. In the Auto Focus Mode, no.

I think the twist is for Zooming it would probably focus Automatically like my s5500 does with an option for manual focus.

ether that, or push the flash button half way down that's what i do on my FinePix S5700
