Which camera is better . . .?

Which camera is better : Kodak EasyShare V570 Duel Lens or Kodak EasyShare V610 Duel Lens?

I'm sorry, but neither camera is really any good. Just because they have a dual lens, doesn't mean they are good.

According to one of the reviews below, the V570 gets a score of 7/10 for outdoor image quality and 6/10 for indoor flash quality. I would not buy a camera unless it scored a 9 or 10 for image quality.

And the V610 scores 6.5/10 and is rated (just about) above average.

There are many other much better cameras available....sorry, if that's not what you wanted to hear.

If photo quality is important to you...look at Canon.

Sometimes it is not on the camera that has problem but the user! Better camera will not fix any ugly face!

V610. I like your name.

I don't know what price range these cameras are in but do explore the brands of Sony, Canon, Fugi and Nikon. You also may want to look in your local libraty at Nov'06 Consumer Reports magazine.

Oddly enough, the more expensive, high pixel version of this camera (the V610) does not review as well as the cheaper one (the V570).

I agree with Petra that there are certainly better choices, but in keeping with your original question and if you are in love with the idea of a non-extending lens, I'd save the money and buy the cheaper V570. It would be a shame to pay any more money for a crappy camera than necessary.

I just bought a V610 and returned it- out of the 2, I'd choose the 570
