I HAVE AN EMBARRASSiNG CAMERA...SCARED TO TAKE OUT IN PUBLIC!? |
My brother in law gave us an HP Photosmart M22 camera. well you should be gratefull with what you got dont be so materialistic. it dosent look to bad. but if you want a new camera you could ask him for a gift receipt and put some more money and buy a new one. just say you didnt like it. he ll probably understand. well this kinds suckx.. i actually think the camera is cute lol..maybe because i dont have one like that.. but dont go and be sneaky just tell him how you feel thats so much better than lying.. hope this helpz Research a new compact digital camera on dpreview and buy your own. If your friends laugh at your camera, they aren't your friends. There is nothing embarrassing about that camera, HP makes good cameras. I can lend you a Kodak Brownie if you want something really naff. wow a tad bit shallow and materialistic? Are you kidding me? The only person cares about what camera you are using is going to be you. and you have some issues to work out. Perhaps he's a fan of mini electronics, lol. If you care anything at all about photography or just taking good memorable photos, that camera won't do if it doesn't even have a zoom lens. How are you going to take sharp pictures? I'm afraid you'll just have to hurt his feelings. Pretend 2 lose the camera but take it in2 Cashconverters and sell it 2 them & use the money as a deposit 4 the camera you would really like lol ur funny.. 谋t doesnt even look that bad.. well 谋t doesnt look bad... 谋 th谋nk the qual谋ty 谋s jus not good where 谋 saw 谋t sa谋d 4.1 megap谋xels dats pretty not good lol.. why bother what anyone else thinks? be your own person and don't look a gift horse in the mouth. A lot of times, other people have better things compared to what we have and getting embarassed is not the way to go. You are luckier than your friends who have better cameras as yours was gifted to you by a caring person. You are right that your brother-in-law could get hurt by your buying a new one immediately. You could wait for a while out of respect for his feelings and then get yourself another one but if you were to go anywhere with your brother-in-law use his gift to you, as it will prove to him that you appreciate his gift and his thoughtfulness. Some of the good cameras do not have the zoom feature, they could be used for excellent close-range photos. Buy a new Camera is the best option for you to do. The most expensive and sophisticated DSLR will never ever take a great - much less good - photograph. In fact it will do nothing until the human mind directs it. Its the photographer, NOT the camera. If you not happen I'd get another one but if you go any where with him use the other what and don't show him the new one everbodys happy :) You seem like a spoilt brat to me. typically the public really doesn't care what type of camera you've got, just be thankful you were given one. sounds like you are a stuck up spoiled brat who wants the same stuff as other people has I don't think it looks bad. I've wanted a digital camera for ages so I think your quite lucky. And if yours friends don't like it then they have to much spare time on their hands if they need to think up criticism about it. Have fun with it! Stop being such a twit! If you don't want to be able to make photos like these... Buy a good point-n-shoot camera for normal use. Only use this when your BIL comes by. |
