I have a canon powershot A610, I want to take professional grade pictures what lens should I purchase? |
the camera came with a canon zoom lens 4x 7.3 -29.2mm 1:2.8-4.1 Thank you for your help I don't know the difference between the lenses. I guess a tele-lens The A610 is a fine camera, but it's not intended for professional photography. It has a small sensor and a permanently attached, consumer grade zoom lens. do you want a tele-lens or wide angle or close-up I'm quite confused by your question. I don't really know why you would bother with changing the lens on this camera. For one thing it's not an SLR, which is meant to interchange lens. Your camera has a fixed lens and the only lens you could possibly attach is a teleconverter or a wide angle converter. Adding these won't make much of a difference to your image quality, it just increases the zoom range you can use. Your camera also has a small sensor, and it's not professional grade. Sure you can take great photos, but most professionals would have an SLR camera (which uses a large sensor) rather than use a P&S camera like the A610. |
