I'm looking to buy a Canon Rebel XTi, and don't want to buy it from the morons at Best Buy or Wal Mart. I'm looking for a REAL camera shop, that sells cameras and accessories like lenses, filters, tripods, etc. Does anyone know of a reputable one in the Phoenix or Glendale area? Probably the best camera shop in the Phoenix area is Tempe Camera near ASU.
This is where a lot of the local professional and free lance photographers go for equipment (and special processing). I actually bought my Rebel XT from Fry's Electronics (closer to my house and a little cheaper), but I have bought all of my lenses and other equipment at Tempe Camera.
They are located on University west of the ASU campus. I am not familiar with Phoenix. Ever consider buying over the internet from these stores that know a thing or two about photography?
