What is wrong with my Digital Camera?

I have a FujiFilm Digital 4.1 Mega Pixels camera. The problem is the lens part won't come out. It takes forever and you have to turn it on and off to get it too come out all the way. It has been a good camera up tell now. I wonder can I fix it or something.

I also have charged the batteries so I know its not that.

All rechargeable batteries have a definite life-span. It sounds like yours are tired! Are you using NiMH batteries or NiCad? NiCads, being the older technology, were notorious for developing a memory if recharged too often before being fully discharged.

If you're using a NH-10 battery pack, you can replace it with AA Alkalines for now.

i would say, buy a more up to date camera, one that is at least 6 megapixel.

meybe the rechargeable batteries have worn out already. try to by new ones with a capacity of at least 2000mAh. if that doesnt work, there are two things.
if the led lights or blinks. there may be some small objects stucked to the lens.
if there is no activity even with the leds, it probably needs replacement.

Ah...I think I know what's wrong! You need the Polaroid i832 8 megapixel digital camera instead!
