Is it possible to attach a digital camera to a spotting scope?

I have a Kodak Z740 digital camera that I would like to attach to my Bushnell Trophy Spotting Scope. The camera has a 45.5mm lens but I have an adapter to make it 55mm. I have found an adapter that will work for 35mm cameras but not for anything that is larger than that. So I need to find an adapter for the Bushnell Trophy Scope to a 55mm lense.

You may be able to, but it depends on the Trophy model you have. Bushnell makes a camera adapter for the Trophy model 78-2200 that may work with your camera. If you have the 78-2065, you may be out of luck. :(
I think your best chance is to take the camera and your 45.5mm to 55mm adapter to a retailer that sells Bushnell spotting scopes and accessories and fit it before you decide to buy.

Probably not unless the camera lens has a threaded filter screw mount on the front. If it does, you need to buy an adapter to fit that size thread to the spotting scope mount.

My guess is the camera does not have a thread on the lens.
